Catholic Cemeteries of the Archdiocese of Omaha invite those who have lost loved ones to join us Wednesdays in Advent (December 4th, 11th, and 18th at 6:00 PM) in the Holy Angels Mausoleum at Resurrection Cemetery.

We will pray for your peace and healing as we await the coming of the Christ Child. Come and leave your petitions at the Christmas Remembrance Tree. They will be offered in prayer during all of Advent and presented silently during the January 7th 2025 Memorial Mass.

The Advent Season connects memory and hope. This Holy Season awakens in us the most profound memory of God who so loved the world that he sent his only Son to redeem His Father’s creation. This is a time of healing and hope. It is the Church’s sincere desire to remind us even in the despair of having lost a loved one, it is in holiness that we take on the task of Advent to remember to waken in all of us the memories of God’s Goodness and thus begin to live in hope.
