Winter Decorations – Pick Up April 8

Winter Decorations – Pick Up April 8

The cemetery grounds look beautiful again this year as families did a wonderful job decorating their loved ones graves. Decorations ranged from live wreaths to decorative snowmen, and everything in between.  It is great to see this outpouring of love.

Artificial decorations on the grounds (outside of the mausoleums) are annually permitted from November 1 through March 31. This year, because Easter Sunday falls on April 1, 2018, we will extend the pick-up date one week.

We ask families to pick up any of their decorations they wish to save by SUNDAY, APRIL 8, 2018.  Our operations crew will do a sweep pick-up of all remaining decorations on Monday, April 9, in preparation for the spring grounds preparation and mowing.

Appropriate decorations during the non-winter months (April – end Oct) for flat marker graves with in-ground vases are live flowers. Artificial flowers may be used on monument graves with vases located on the monument throughout the year.  If you have additional questions, please see the Decorating Guidelines on our website, or contact the office.
